A Pause in the Karoo
I painted this scene of Calitzdorp, Pause in the Karoo, after a road trip through the Karoo’s quiet streets. There's something magical about how time seems to slow down in places like this.

Indian Strawberry
This oil painting is a tribute to the humble ground cover that flourishes in my garden, unnoticed yet full of life. With rich textures and earthy tones, it invites you to pause and appreciate the small wonders beneath our feet. A perfect piece to bring a touch of nature’s quiet beauty into your home."

Quiet Resilience
This painting holds a special place in my heart.
Inspired by a simple yet profound moment from a special vacation, it features a solitary stick standing in the water—a quiet testament to resilience amidst stillness.
Through soft brushstrokes and layered textures, I sought to capture the quiet strength within us all—a reminder that even in stillness, there is resilience, growth, and purpose.

IIn 2020 I had the privilege of Doris commission a painting for me . My son had taken a photo of the Outeniqua mountain in George from the Botanical garden. In her painting she captured the feeling of true likeness . I am in awe every time I look at my painting. In 2020 I had the privilege of Doris commission a painting for me . When I first saw this beautiful painting I just had to smile – I have a honeysuckle hedge in our garden and during the 2020 Covid19 Lockdown I used to sit and watch the bees having their Zoom meetings! I gives me so much pleasure to be able to enjoy this remarkable piece of brilliance.
